99 Days 'Til Boston
I didn't grow up running competitively - but, somewhat unexpectedly, I spent more days in 2017 running than not running. I tackled my second marathon, completed my first 50-mile trail race, and I qualified for the 2018 Boston Marathon. In the time since, I've been asked a ton of questions about my experience with running: from what type of shoes I wear, to how I develop my own training plans, to why in the world my girlfriend and I would want to run 50 miles together.
My goal with this series is to answer all of those questions, and to help anyone who's interested in running avoid some of the mistakes I made early on.
